Step by Step Instructions

Place a piece of A4 card onto the eazi-score board and score down line no. 7 at the A4 half fold point. Trim off the excess piece of card and retain if using as the wrap part later.

Turn the card lengthways and score at the DL line no.5 & at the A5 half fold no.6 point.

Position the last no.6 score line at the edge of the score board and then score at no.7 A4 half fold point.

Then use the wavy line to add an edge to the flap of the envelope and trim off the excess card.

Take a piece of A3 card cut in half lengthways before folding the remaining piece of card in half and then scoring at the no.6 half fold point on both sides of the card to make the concertina shaped card.

Place the wavy line flap panel into the floral embossing folder and emboss through your die cutting machine.

Also emboss the last panel on the concertina card to add texture to the piece.

If using a wrap to close the brag book then emboss the excess piece of card through the embossing folder. Use the slit in the folder to pass the card through to emboss the whole length of the card.

Wrap the panel around the outside of the brag book. Crease and emboss across the folds on the edges to give a crisp finish.

Swipe the Victorian velvet distress ink pad directly over the embossed area, do this lightly so you just catch the flowers.

Repeat the same process if using the wrap.  Apply tumbled glass ink with the cut`n`dry foam to distress the edges.

Use the sticky thumb tape runner around the edges of the inside flap to stick down the paper.

Place the paper over the prepared area and trim off the excess paper using the edge of the page as a guide.

Use the front or reverse side of the paper to mix and match your colours throughout the project. Place a piece of paper behind the embossed flap & leave a little extra paper showing before rounding off the corners off to add detail.

The paper will be seen under the curved edge and just adds detail & coordination to the design.

Stick the panel of the concertina card into the middle section of the book.

Trim and attach panels of pink & patterned blue paper to the concertina card, these are the areas that can be stamped or photos added too.

To finish the project either use the wrap to act as a closure to the design, or use a hitch fastener to the front flap or tie a ribbon and bow to finish the piece

He is the completed brag book ready for you to fill with photos or toppers.

This photo shows the inner and bottom flap of the book are both covered with a fancy pants paper. The white embossed page starts the concertina section of the book to add detail to the piece.
