Step by Step Instructions

Select different sizes of pre cut grungeboard circles. I used 2 large circles, 8 medium and 6 small circles to make this necklace. Mount the artsy flower stamp onto an acrylic block and ink using the Tim Holtz dusty concord ink pad.

Stamp directly onto the grungeboard circle. The flower head won`t cover the whole piece, but it has been used as the flowers are lovely and petite.

Ink the stamp again and stamp in the 2 plain spaces to fill the area.

Once finished you will have an area of small flowers on the grungeboard.

Complete this on all the selected circles. Now using the cut`n`dry foam distress the edges using the dusty concord ink.

Roll each circle across the ink pad to cover the depth of the grungeboard; this will give a lovely finish to each piece.

Make a small hole in one of the medium circles and add a layer of the green glue before adding the glass glintz.

Before the glue has time to set with glass glintz, add a jump ring through the hole and set aside to dry.

Now punch small holes at the top and bottom of all the remaining circles.

Place 2 circles back to back and add a jump ring through the 2 holes. To open the jump ring, either use your fingers or twist the ring join, one to the left and one to the right. Or do the same but using pliers.

Start linking the circles up by adding 1, 2 or 3 jump rings in between each circle. I have started with 1 small circle then added a large circle either side, then 3 medium pieces each side followed by 3 small circles each side.

Complete the process until you are happy with the length and spacing of the necklace. Join 3 jump rings together.

And attach and join up with the jump rings as in the last photo. Now add the jump ring to the glass glintz piece you made earlier to give detail to the necklace.

Here is the completed necklace so far.

If you don`t like the plain backing of the grungeboard you can lay the necklace on the craft sheet and spritz using the cosmic shimmer plum twist mist. Make sure to lift the piece quickly after spritzing so any ink that is left on the mat doesn`t run into the circles on the front of the design.

Take earring findings and add a few beads before using a pair of pliers to turn the ends to make a hoop.

Add the beads to the jump rings on the necklace to add extra detail to the piece. You can also add some little Tim Holtz charms leaving them blank or by adding something to each piece.

Here is the completed project along with the boxed feet jewellery box.

Wow Suzanne that’s brilliant. My DAL would just love it so it’s my project for after Christmas. If I can wait which I doubt.
