Step by Step Instructions

1 – Optional: Cut little notches in your template where the score lines will be, this will help when scoring later on.     Lay the template on the bottom corner edge of A3 thick card

1

2  Using a pencil draw around the template. Mark the notches with a pencil to help when scoring later.

2

3 Place the template on the opposite top corner and repeat the step above. Cut out both pieces.

3

4  Score along the lines as shown on the template and using the notches to help.

4

Crease along the score lines if you are not stamping over the corner edges or crease later if you are stamping over the edges. Take the 2 blank bases and decorate as required.

5

Use the distress ink pad direct onto the card for a rough look as shown on the left or smooth out the ink using the cut`n`dry foam for an all over smoother look to the card as shown on the right . Allow to dry or heat set the ink.

6

7  Wipe the card with the anti static bag prior to stamping. If you don`t want the design to go over the edge of the box place a scrap piece of card to mask the area. Ink your stamp `Prefect Medium` stamp and emboss with Voila Black embossing powder

7

Repeat the stamp and embossing till the design is complete. Ink the swirl design with the same distress ink colour and stamp all over the card at random.

8

Prepare the watercolours by spritzing them with water 15 minutes before working with them and then again when you start painting. Mix the colour around in the pot to get the right consistency to paint, then start painting the image.

9

10  Use the coloured images from the stamp sheet index to refer to when building the colours on your image. Once you have finished your piece allow to dry or heat set it with a heat gun. Using the Shabby Shutters ink and cut `n ` dry foam distress all the edges.

10

11  Crease the score lines if you haven`t already done so. Apply the Cosmic Shimmer glue to the side tabs of the box

11

12 Attach together and allow to dry. Repeat this on the other tab to complete the box shape.

12

13 Fold the top of the tissue box into position and then open again. Apply glue on the inside top flap, then fold the lid into position again and stick it down. Repeat until the box is complete

13

14 Place a box of tissues inside the box to finish the project. These boxes make wonderful gift ideas.
